Jefferson City School Board to Vote on Budget Amendment and Contracts


The Jefferson City School District School Board will vote Monday on whether or not to approve a budget amendment and contracts for five construction projects.

The board of directors must vote on:

• Two contracts with Foresight for the design and management of roof replacement submissions at West Elementary School and Lewis and Clark Middle School, each for $ 16,381;

• Two contracts with The Architects Alliance for renovation design and bid management at Moreau Heights Elementary School for $ 135,515 and Thorpe Gordon Elementary School for $ 199,485;

• A $ 120,000 addendum to an ongoing contract with energy efficiency firm Navitas for renovation design and construction management in Moreau Heights and Thorpe Gordon.

The meeting will also include an update on student drug testing presented by Ehren Earleywine, Director of Activities, and an update on the dividing lines presented by Dawn Berhorst, Acting COO, as well as ‘another report from Berhorst and reports from Superintendent Larry Linthacum and Deputy Superintendent Bryan McGraw.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at the JCPS Education Center, 204 Dix Road, Jefferson City. It will be streamed live on the JCSchools Videos YouTube page.
