The IAPCO EDGE Asia-Pacific seminar brings together 11 experts for four informative days

The International Association of Professional Conference Organizers (IAPCO) Asia-Pacific EDGE Seminar, October 11-14, will be four days of virtual thought leadership and learning events for industry professionals. The seminar will cover topics such as the dos and don’ts of hybrid conference management as well as practical tips for retaining and supporting staff.

The seminar will hear from 11 experts, including Oscar Cerezales, based in Singapore, from MCI Group, Managing Director of International Conference Services for Asia, Patricia Cheong and Jan Tonkin, Managing Director of Conference Company.

This is the third virtual IAPCO EDGE, following seminars for European and Latin American professionals earlier this year.

Martin Boyle, CEO of IAPCO, said: “We know there are still cancellations or postponements of events across the region, but we are seeing green shoots of recovery starting to appear.”

Boyle added, “IAPCO EDGE APAC aims to directly address concepts such as ‘Covid-19 fatigue’, recovery strategies and team motivation by inspiring attendees with new and innovative ideas for planning events – and most importantly, to plan them with certainty – while also providing support from key industry leaders and other colleagues.
